Snoqualmie Pass Sledding

There are basically two areas to sled at Snoqualmie Pass, one being the Hyak Snow Park, the other being the Summit at Snoqaulmie's Tubing Center. The Summit at Snoqualmie Ski Partol and Security do not allow sledding on the ski slopes. While it is possible to park on the side of the road and sled, there are really no areas that provide a decent hill.

The Hyak Sno-Park is located off of Exit 54 of Interstate 90 and requires a Washnigton State Sno-Park Permit to park your car. Permits can be purchased at the Hyak Sno-Park for $10 for a single day, or $30 for the season. The Chevron Station also sells the permits, although there is a $1 processing fee, and the station is located near Summit West and Exit 52 at Snoqualmie Pass. Sledding hill is groomed, with a run out area and snowbank at the bottom of the hill. There is a bathroom facility in the parking area.

The Summit at Snoqualmie Tubing Center charges a fee per person for a two hour session, and provides inflated tubes, and a rope-tow to pull you back up the hill. The fees as $17 to $20 for adults, $15 to $17 for youths (ages 6 to 12) and $5 for children (5 and under).
