Once The Summit closes for the season, it’s touring time at Alpental. My preferred route to ascend goes up underneath Chair 2, up Gunmount and Rollen to the top. Depending on snow conditions, Rollen usually melts out, but I still prefer that to Kante, Edelweiss Bowl on coming directly up International. After a couple of weeks, International usually smoothes out and the spring corn snow makes for some great turns all the way down.
