Trip Report
With the early season snow still sticking, Tim and I decided for some turns on Hyak. The bottom of the hill barely had enough snow to skin on, but as we skinned up the mountain, the coverage improved. The turns from the top were great. There was enough snow to provide a solid base and we were skiing over a foot of new. The bottom half of the mountain was interesting getting down, but we made it down without hitting any rocks.
