I couldn't get anyone to rally for a ski tour, so I headed to Mount Snoqualmie for a solo tour. I was planning on going to the top and skiing down, but while skinning up the Phantom Slide Path, I meet up with a couple of guys who said they were headed for the slot.

They let me tag along and we ended up having a great ski. There was about 6" of new snow, if not a little more, and it made for some excellent turns on the bottom half, once we entered Thundercreek Basin. The top part of the Slot was variable, with decent snow conditions and crusty/icy conditions. I ended up taking a heads-over-heals tumble and had to hike up and dig out my ski.

looking down the slot adam coming down nice ski skiing into thundercreek basin nice snow at the bottom looking back
