Mount Hood

Tim had a connection in Hood, and we secured a place to stay. Arriving at 11pm the night before, we promptly crashed and got up to the base of Hood around 9am. There were plenty of tourists in the parking lot and I was a little nervous about skinning up the ski slope. Would the patrol kick us off the hill?

We did run into patrol, and they were cool about it. They asked us to stay on the edge and keep an eye out for errant skiers and snowboarders coming down the hill. It was incredibly hot going up, and both Tim and I felt the sun. The ski down was nice. Once we were on the groomers, it was fantastic.
